Striped Bass, or “Stripers”, are one of the most sought after sport fishing targets on the East Coast, and Cape Cod is one of the best places to find huge trophy stripers. From spring to fall, Striped Bass migrate into the waters off the coast of Cape Cod, and the fishing is unbeatable. Primarily a schooling fish, Striped Bass is found all over the inshore and near shore waters of Cape Cod feeding on the rich variety of marine life found in these waters. Striped Bass have a very diverse diet, eating anything from small bait fish to lobsters, crab, eels, and squid. Stripers are active throughout the day, feeding more actively at dusk and dawn.
